About Maureen
Maureen is a Brooklyn based fitness professional with nearly 500 hours of certified study; her teaching style masterfully weaves practical theory and bone cues with the use of playful imagery and metaphor for a well rounded, jovial experience for her students.
Maureen braids a wide array of low impact strength, mobility, and flexibility drills with breath work and meditation techniques. Her work is primarily informed by her study of Nevine Michaan’s Katonah Yoga Theory, hatha yoga, restorative yoga, contemporary mat Pilates, and myofascial release / self massage.
Deeply intuitive and adept at working with all types of bodies and experience levels, her greatest skill is leading with empathy and inclusion - empowering her dedicated community to confidently develop & refine their personal tool kit for greater strength, stability, and structure both on and off the mat.
